Lightroom is still continuing to amaze I feel it’s like an iceberg more hidden than showing. I’m finding out more and more. But thanks to Kim I am slowly learning. I created this in Lightroom using a wonderful template from Kim, transferred to Photoshop, and added a frame, a drop shadow (thanks Roxi for the tutorial) and a pretty font (noodle script).
This has been a tough week my Fibromyalgia has reared it’s ugly head and I am feeling so bad – it is so dispiriting as I limp around the house. So excuse me if I have a whinge…..

Thanks to Kim I can now design a logo. Also I have learnt a bit more about Adobe CC (Photoshop) .
I wanted a logo for this years Art Journal Caravan with Tangie Baxter, I have participated in 2012 and 2013 and so enjoyed the prompts and friendship of a great community of people. As this is to be the last one I had to sign up again. This is what I designed….
And this is another design for my blog..
I was enjoying myself so I created some brushes as well , now I can use them on my images.
I also incorporated my word for this year.
I really enjoyed this challenge I hope to do more…..
Oh how I love my Wacom tablet and brushes as well so thanks Kim for this tutorial.
But I am going to have to practice a lot before I get to Kim’s standard.
But I did have fun !!!!
Kim’s second challenge was to take her photo and create our take on it. In Lightroom I slid the saturation down and adjusted the split toning to give it a monochrome effect, I added one of Kim’s textures(3101) a little heart brush I created and a lovely quote.
Here is my still life featuring one of the lovely bottles I was given for Christmas from my niece , you will see them a lot. I used the light by the front door again and made the image as light as possible. I added a texture (Waterfront 1).
Such a great tutorial I loved getting back to some texture love.
