My Peonies arrive in early June last for about 2 weeks before the rain washes over them and flattens them, so many photos have to be taken in a short time, so please forgive me…

More practise with focusing and depth of field for Kim’s Be Still – 52.
I’m sharing some photos and a layout from this week.
Using my own texture.
And finally a journaling layout…..

Have a fab weekend………

  3. I love seeing your artful images – I can almost see your vision unfolding. Love the peonies – and yes, I did the same – take as many pictures as possible before they are gone! I read the book , A Homemade Life, too. Haven't gotten to her new book just yet, Delancey, but I'll read this summer. My favorite – the from above picture!

  11. The creamy blooms are lovely — and I'm most fascinated by that colorful little notebook in the first image. Blank books and journals hold so much promise. I'm always drawn to them.

  13. You made me realize I must buy some peonies to plant in my new cutting garden. And I listened to A Homemade Life in audio form with Molly reading it and it was wonderful. Always love dropping in here Viv.
