Welcome to another edition of ‘App Happy Wednesday’ hosted by Barb at ‘Keeping With the Times’
One of my most favourite apps and one of the very first apps I bought back in the early days of my obsession with iPhoneography is Hipstamatic. I cannot tell you how much I love this app.
I know it has faults but some of the films and lenses are so much fun to play with.
Original
I know many people don’t like that you have to use the camera to take the shot and you have to depend on the finished result, but it reminds me of playing with a Poloroid.

Using Tejas lens and DreamCanvas film
And of course you can order prints directly from the app which I have done and they are great quality.
Not content with just using Hipstamatic I played around with.

  3. I so love Hipstamatic just for all the reasons you say people dislike it, go figure. For me it is about the surprise I get from it. Love what you have gotten and love the bracelet also and thank you for the link will check that out.

  5. Lovely images as always, Viv. I haven't quite gotten into phonography yet. Maybe one day, but looking at your work inspires me to create with Photoshop and LR and other computer apps.

  7. You always remind me to play with Hipsta which I did this week and loved the result I got on my white peonies. I need to look and see if I have Tejas, I think I do. I love Dream Canvas! And I love how the Waterlouge one turned out.

  9. These are all beautiful! I have to confess … I never use Hipstamatic. What is wrong with me? I need to start playing. Thanks for pushing me along, Viv! Don't you love how we learn from one another?
