Lightroom is still continuing to amaze I feel it’s like an iceberg more hidden than showing.  I’m finding out more and more.  But thanks to Kim I am slowly learning.  I created this in Lightroom using a wonderful template from Kim, transferred to Photoshop,  and added a frame, a drop shadow (thanks Roxi for the tutorial) and a pretty font (noodle script).
This has been a tough week my Fibromyalgia has reared it’s ugly head and I am feeling so bad –  it is so dispiriting as I limp around the house.  So excuse me if I have a whinge…..
This week I found a bee on my Grape Hyacinth Spring must surely be around the corner ?

  4. I make lists, too and sometimes I remember to take them with me! Sorry about your fibromyalgia … the weather can't help. Your grape hyacinth is so pretty and welcome to the bee! I have a friend who moved to WordPress … didn't like it and moved to Squarespace … it wasn't long after that she quit blogging altogether. I'll stick with blogger. Happy Friday!

  5. Viv,I like your lightroom picture. The buttons are fun (color and shape) and I like the contrast between the buttons and wood. Yeah for a taste of spring from your second photo. It was gorgeous here yesterday, sunny and 48*. This morning it's windy and they are calling for a high in the upper 20's. I frequently tell myself I can remember …. but I usually don't. I'm a chronic list maker and love to make check marks when I get something on my list completed.

  6. Viv, I pondered and messed with WP for 6 months before I finally made the move. I sat it up, named it, everything except hitting the import button. Now I've been using it over a year, and have never regretted it. Both platforms have plusses and minuses. To me it all needs to be easy and comfortable. LOVE your triptych!!

  7. good morning Viv … i am so sorry to read that you are not feeling well. Does that rainy dank weather take a toll on you? I was goad to see the photo of your flower popping his head out of the ground …. Springtime!!! We still have over a foot of snow on the ground … have not seen even one blade of grass since November!!! But i did hear water dripping … as the snow is slowly starting to melt away!!! feel better soon!

  9. so sorry to hear you are feeling bad, Love the collage, need to get to the lesson this week on B/B. I am behind. I just picked up a Grape Hyacinth at our local Trader Joe's yesterday and was just thrilled. Can't wait to photograph it as it isn't a plant I can grow here in the desert and since I left California have missed this little flower. Feel better Viv.

  16. I think I would like to try Lightroom – maybe someday… I'm pretty sure a bee is a sure sign of Spring. I'm sorry your fibromyalgia has been acting up this week – you're definitely entitled to whine now and then. You sound just like me – I make lists and then forget them – grrrr. But sometimes just the act of writing it helps me remember.

  17. Your triptych is lovely — you are obviously a good student! I love using Lightroom but I know there's SO much about it I have yet to learn. I did tackle WordPress. Sometimes I get frustrated, but usually Google comes through and I can find the solution to whatever I'm trying. It's fun to learn. I bet you would do well with it. I hope your fibromyalgia quiets down and you have a good weekend!

  19. Sorry you're not so good Viv – I hope it passes quickly. I make the lists and then lose them… The hyacinths are fabulous – aren't they just the best colour!

  20. Photo editing is this hurdle out there waiting for me to tackle. I know so little about it and know it is a time consuming process that I truly need to take on but continue to put off. I started using Google's Keep, an app on my phone to keep all my lists so I would always have them. I keep my furnace filter size and my ink cartridge numbers in it so I never buy the wrong ones again.
