“Life is an experiment in which you may fail or succeed. Explore more, expect least.”
― Santosh Kalwar

I had decided not to have a word this year but it sort of crept up on me and there it was. Out of all my January photographs this is the one that cried out to me.

Taken on my iPhone early afternoon the sun was already beginning to go down . It wasn’t until I got back home and downloaded my photos that I saw the light through the trees.

To me it cried out as a new beginning in my 59th year, I want to explore myself, my environment,my life . The light shafting through the trees was the split, the crack inviting me to walk through and to see what was on the other side.

  1. Bare trees in winter are always so beautiful and these are set off wonderfully by that blue and pink sky! It sounds like you’re on the right track for exploring your life!

  2. Wonderful photo and great photo-heart connection.. It happened to me too, I had decided to not to make resolutions or even have a word, when something inside me whispered: celebrate. And here I am in a year of celebration…
