This week I have been trying to complete my 30 days of thankful layouts I’m almost ready to upload them and some Instagram images as well to Artifact Uprising. They do a softcover book for only $16.99 .

Here is one of my layouts, I used a lovely set of templates from Rosey Posey at Scrapbookgraphics. I used Kim’s ‘magic’ textures.

This week is the last week of my Brene Brown I shall really miss checking in to all of my new friends, but as one door closes I’m sure another one will open.

Have a great week……

  1. As you know Viv, I LOVE all of your works, and this is no exception, especially the quote (a new one for me). It is fun to have these old nostalgic cameras, isn't it? I'm just not much for the film part, since I never could get good shots with our first film SLR. Have a lovely week!

  2. I adore this layout with its juicy camera vintageness! And that is a great quote by Leonard Cohen. I'm a big fan but I didn't know it either. Happy December and here's to new doors opening…

  3. Your layout is wonderful! I love the photos of the old cameras. My mom gave me a few old cameras, I didn't really know what to do with them in a photo. You have given me some insight on how to do that. I love it!

  4. Oh, the vintage cameras! And the quote is perfect, talking about the past. I'm glad you have enjoyed your Brene Brown class. Yes, I'm sure a new adventure is waiting for you!

  5. This is lovely. The Artifact Uprising stuff is beautiful but I wanted to order some cards and shipping costs doubled the price of the order! Would love to hear/see how your book turns out as I have some images I want to put together and much as I love blurb I could do with a change. I've loved the Brene Brown course too. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure. 🙂

  6. Love the feel of this photo! Where did you take the photo with the camera sitting on what looks like a card catalogue from a library? Just this week my son needed a book from the library. No more card catalogues to flip through – everything is on a computer.
