I like a nice cup of tea in the morning.
For to start the day you see,
And at half past eleven,
Well my idea of Heaven
Is a nice cup of tea.
I like a nice cup of tea with my dinner
And a nice cup of tea with my tea.
And when it’s time for bed
There’s a lot to be said
For a nice cup of tea……

(Herbert/Sullivan)

I love tea.. preferably Yorkshire Gold, what they call builders brew, strong with a lot of milk.  A tea bag will do, it doesn’t have to be in a cup and saucer, but I am fussy about the mug I drink it from, not porcelain though, I don’t like the feeling on my tongue…
But I had some amazing iced tea the other day it had jasmine in it….served in a glass on a pretty saucer so refreshing on a hot day.

I took these images with my Iphone and collaged them in InstaCollage….

Today I had a little photo shoot before it got to hot in my sunroom….With a cup and some jasmine tea….
And finally a template I created in Lightroom don’t you just love the quote ?
I used Kim’s Downton textures Mary and Isobel, also from the Paperish collection, ‘music light’..
Are you going to join in ?

  1. Vivi, you are the first one I've seen speak about Yorkshire Gold – we've been drinking Yorkshire now for years after finding it at a small boutique in the States – it is the BEST and summer is such a perfect time for iced tea! LOVE your photos and the LR collage is just beautiful.
