Ok so I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a mouseover to work and finally yey I’ve done it….
anyhow taking some shots today of my peonies (sigh) this is the last of them…
My finds were these little books . When I was a child everyone had ‘observer books” so many subjects from planes to trees to butterflies, they were small enough to pop into a pocket
Mine disappeared years ago but I found these two in my local Oxfam shop.. I probably paid too much for them but the money goes to a good cause.
The terracotta plant label is new too from a local shop that is full of tempting goodies… Lots of processing in Lightroom using a great preset called Grandma’s Tap Shoes (who comes up with these names) from OnOne software a freebie, I then tweaked it in tone curve…The little template comes from my all time favourite digital supplier Anna Aspnes (FotoWallets No 1)
Finally the texture used in the image below is one of my favourites from Kim as it has text on it called ‘naturally’ from the 2012 collection.. I also added some brushes from French Kiss
What have you found this week do tell ?
I love those little books. So cute. If they are important to you they were worth it at any price.
